Homemade Chicken Bone Broth

  • Large Stock Pot

Ingredients

  • Bones from 2 roast chickens
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1-2 tbsps apple cider vinegar
  • 1-2 carrots
  • 2 sticks celery
  • ½ red bell pepper
  • small bunch parsley
  • few spring thyme
  • salt & pepper
  • water

Instructions

  • Put all ingredients into a large stock pot and fill up with water.
  • Slowly bring to the boil.
  • Put on lid, turn heat to very low and simmer for 8-12 hours.
  • Strain broth through a sieve and store in either fridge or freezer until needed.
