- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup smooth peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup chocolate chips
Pre-heat the oven to 180C / 350F.
Cream together the butter, peanut butter and vanilla until smooth.
Add sugar and beat together until smooth.
Beat in the egg until fully incorporated.
Mix in the flour, ½ a cup at a time together with the baking soda and salt.
Stir in the chocolate chip cookies with a wooden spoon.
Measure out tablespoon amounts of cookie dough, roll into a ball and press down gently onto a lined baking sheet.
Bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
