This easy Pico de Gallo recipe is very quick to make and is perfect served as a dip with tortilla chips, or alongside your favorite Mexican dish.

- 4 large ripe tomatoes
- ½ red onion
- 1 jalapeno pepper
- ½ cup freshly chopped cilantro
- Juice of 1 lime (1-2 tbsp)
- ½ teaspoon salt
Finely chop the tomatoes, onion, jalapeno and cilantro.
Put all ingredients into a bowl, mix in the lime juice and salt.
Let it stand for at least 15 minutes before serving.
