This Thermomix Mango Lassi is creamy, sweet and refreshing and takes just a few minutes to make in the Thermomix.

This yoghurt-based drink is a staple in Indian restaurants and street food stalls and is perfect for cooling down on a hot summer day.

The tanginess of the yoghurt combined with the sweetness of the mango gives it the classic lassi flavour, enhanced with a touch of cardamom.

And all of this deliciousness takes just a few short minutes in the Thermomix!

    Why you'll love this recipe

    • It uses just FIVE ingredients!
    • It's sweet, refreshing and delicious.
    • All of this deliciousness takes just a few short minutes in the Thermomix!

    Ingredients

You will need the following ingredients for this mango chutney recipe. Exact ingredient quantities can be found in the recipe card at the bottom of the post.

A mango lassi tastes best when it is super cold. Therefore, for the best results, make sure your mango, yoghurt and milk are all well chilled before starting. You can also pop the mango in the freezer for 20 minutes before starting.

    • Mangoes - I love making this lassi when mangoes are in season, and the fruit is abundant in the grocery stores. Sweet, fresh mangoes are the best! If you don't have access to fresh seasonal mango, you can use frozen mango or canned mango pulp (available in some Asian grocery stores).
    • Yoghurt - any plain whole milk yoghurt will do. I usually use Greek yoghurt as I always have this in my fridge.
    • Milk - milk helps to make this a thinner, smoother consistency that is easier to drink.
    • Sugar - you can add as much sugar as you like, depending on how sweet your mangoes are and how sweet your tooth is! I prefer to keep sugar to a minimum. However, adding extra sugar will also help bring out the flavour of the mangoes.
    • Ground Cardamom - this is optional but I like the subtle flavour it gives and it also helps set it apart from a normal mango smoothie.
    • Nuts for decoration (optional) - I always like to sprinkle a few chopped pistachio nuts on top of the lassi, to make it look pretty!

How to make Mango Lassi in the Thermomix

Making mango lassi in the Thermomix is super simple. First mill the sugar - this allows it to dissolve into the liquid more easily.

Then simply add all the other ingredients and blend!

Then pour into glasses, sprinkle with some chopped nuts (if desired) and serve!
